Pharynx

Explanation

The pharynx is the open area at the back of the throat above the openings of the trachea and esophagus. The pharynx consists of three continuous areas:

  • Nasopharynx - the upper portion, above the soft palate, the back of the nasal cavity
  • Laryngopharynx - the lower portion, above the esophagus
  • Oropharynx - the area of the pharynx at the back of the throat, in front of the soft palate

Common symptoms of imbalance may include:

    • Discomfort in the back of the throat

If you have been guided to this page by the subconscious mind through muscle testing, it indicates a misalignment is present. Remember that most of the time, misalignments are caused by the distorting effect of some associated imbalance such as a trapped emotion.

Decoding

You’ve already identified the misalignment. Continue to Association.

Association

Ask: Is there an associated imbalance that needs to be decoded?

  • If no, skip to Intention.
  • If yes, return to the home page, decode and address any associated imbalance(s), then return here and repeat the above question.

Intention

Swipe three times with a magnet or your hand on any length of the governing meridian, while holding an intention to correct the misalignment.
